Daisy Hernandez, Military Apparel Sewing Division at NYCIB

The Military Apparel division of NYCIB is the newest addition to NYCIB facility. Contracts received through the AbilityOne program along with subcontract work have provided excellent training opportunities as well as long term employment for many of our visually impaired employees. From basic stitching to advanced sewing pieces, NYCIB has state-of-the art equipment in place including computerized, automated sewing and cutting operations.
