Facts: The national unemployment rate is over 70% for people who are blind. There are approximately 100,000 people registered as legally blind within New York State - approximately half of those are living in the New York City metro area.

At NYCIB, we focus on ABILITY, not disability. Today, we are the largest employer of blind or visually impaired individuals in the New York City metro area.
